Access

Access is not simply about availability. It is about whether systems are designed to be usable, navigable, and humane.

We fund work that addresses the structural conditions that determine who can obtain care, education, services, and opportunity—and who cannot.

Our Approach

What We Support

We invest in efforts that redesign pathways into essential systems, rather than asking individuals and families to compensate for complexity or failure.

This includes work across:

  • Systems of Care
Healthcare, disability services, and mental health systems designed for coordination and usability.

  • Education & Learning Pathways
Inclusive education and transitions across life stages that expand opportunity.

  • Public & Civic Infrastructure
Housing, benefits, and public systems that are accessible, accountable, and navigable.

How We Evaluate Access Work

We prioritize work that:

  • Reduces structural barriers rather than managing their effects

  • Centers lived experience in systems design

  • Improves coordination, accountability, or usability

  • Has relevance beyond a single program or site
